Hey, I watch your show all the time!
My husband and I are grocery shopping one day, when an elderly lady strikes up a conversation with us. She asked us how many kids we had. I replied kindly...four. She said it must take a lot of food to feed them all. She looks at my husband and says I watch your show every week. I never miss it. Now I bet you are scratching your head and saying what show? You see my husband is a little person. No he is not the guy in little people big world. Believe it or not there is actually more than one little person in the world. Heck, there are three in my own home! People always think they know my husband. They talk to him and think he is some other little person they have met before. We just laugh about it. My oldest daughter is also a little person, as well as my son. We have a interesting life. We draw a lot of attention to ourselves. Some not so good attention. Little kids follow us around sometimes and gawk at us. I have taught my kids they can do anything and be anything. I don't want their size to hold them back in any way. Inside our home we are a normal family.
Of Things Yet To Come.
We all had a wonderful Christmas. It was quiet, but good. We went to Midnight mass. It was extremely hard to keep Noah and Hannah awake. I almost gave up and decided to go to mass on Christmas morning. But I held out and we all made it to mass almost an hour early. The church was so beautiful. I love the feeling I get of peace and love when I enter the church. I wish I could take that feeling with me and pass on it on to everyone I meet. Hannah managed to stay awake through the entire mass. Noah was not so lucky. He did doze off a couple of times. He tried so hard to stay awake. I looked at him one time and he was gently hitting him self in the face trying to stay awake. The music at mass was beautiful and it was an amazing way to welcome Christmas. The kids went to bed easily and didn't wake up until almost 9:00a.m. on Christmas day. Everyone was very happy with their gifts and entertained their self most of the day. We spent the afternoon at my ,mom's house. I feel a sadness that Christmas is over, but excitement of what the New Year has to bring. So, I will ring in the New Year with much anticipation. Welcome 2009!!
